Hi all, Rob here. With another tough assignment for me as I head of to Airlie Beach to the wedding venue at Villa Botanica. What can I say other then WOW! This place is amazing. Every Brides dream really, with amazing accommodation for both the night before with the girls & the night of the wedding with the groom. A fully set up make up & hair room along with several ceremony option pending the size of your guest list. As well as beautiful gardens & view for the photos section including their own private beach as well as some large rocks which you will see in the video the location really couldn’t get any better. It really is the best Airlie Beach has to offer & is one of the best all in one wedding venues I have been to so was great to be asked to do a wedding video at this spot in particular.
I couldn't help but also want to be able to use one of our photography crew to cover this beautiful wedding with us. In saying that we are very keen to head back and hopefully offer the combo to a couple in 2017.
The morning went pretty smooth with the Bride & Groom's preparation, heading of to the ceremony it was full of character. With Ben & Sarah's sense of humour showing itself. I couldn’t wait for the photos section to start & although we where a little low on light we managed to get some beautiful shots in there regardless.
Reception entry was followed swiftly by some speeches & before we knew it was time for the first dance. Which was a first for me with Metallica being their artist of choice which actually worked quite well & set the tone for an action packed night on the dance floor.
It was great to spend the night with this group & as we were leaving, they tried to convince us that we should join them as they party on into the night at the local bars. True rockers partying till the end.
